So, what are we looking for? There are no themes or questions, so don't feel limited in any way. Instead we aim to select the best writing pieces related in any way to the study and exploration of literature, both creative and academic.

Submission guidelines

​​> Submissions may range from 1,500 to 2,500 words in length in the case of academic essays, 1,000 to 2,000 in prose, or between 30 and 50 lines for poetry work (title and bibliography excluded).

> Submissions must follow proper MLA formatting and citation conventions. Please avoid and/or limit the use of footnotes.

> Submissions should be in 12-point font, using a clearly legible typeface (e. g. Times New Roman, Cambria, Arial, etc.).

> Submission limit of 2 papers per author per submission cycle.

> An ideal academic paper will be well-researched, including original and insightful theses. Structure will be clear and logical with clear, well-formed sentences. All papers should be properly proofread prior to submission.

> We accept submissions from students at University of Surrey regardless of their field of study.

> We accept new work as well as writing pieces previously submitted for university assessments.

> In case you want your writing to remain anonymous, please write "N/A" in the name and surname fields of the submission form.​​
